How was everybody’s weekend? For those in Vancouver, wasn’t the sunshine beautiful? I’m glad to welcome May flowers and say goodbye to April showers.
A few months ago I met a wonderful and talented illustrator/graphic artist through blogging. She was one of the entries for my Polaroid art giveaway and her name is Jacqueline Hudon-Verrelli. After looking at her amazing talent on her blog “chubby broccoli” I ended up contacting her in hopes of doing an art trade. I was ecstatic when she said she was into it. For the trade: Jacqueline choose a Polaroid picture I did of the steam clock in Gastown, here in Vancouver:
… And I was curious to see what a family portrait of of my hubby, our dog Griffon and myself would turn out like and couldn’t wait to see what she came up with.
A few days later, a package arrived……….
It was like Christmas all over again …………..
She captured us with her quirky drawing, perfectly. Now I just have to find the perfect frame. Thank you Jacqueline !!! It was such a pleasure to have met you.
